ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Request and procedure all costs to 3rd party payors and clients, making the most of re-imbursement of services supplied to accomplish recognized medical facility objectives.
- Responsible for precise and prompt information entry of charges, payments, changes and other deals to client accounts as needed to consist of both insurance coverage and client billing for charges sustained.
- Responsible for prompt follow-up to insurer on billing sent in order to permit a reliable and effective capital of healthcare facility receivables.
- Record both A/R and various money.
- Prepare bank deposits and post money and modifications to client records as needed.
- Balance A/R and keep supporting reports based on department policy.
- Retrieve and carry out electronic billing to insurer in a prompt way.
- Make follow up calls to insurer and guarantors as needed.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Perform other functions and jobs as appointed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or comparable needed.
- Additional college course work chosen.
- Three years of workplace experience, ideally in a health center or medical workplace.
