We are looking for an extremely encouraged, independent, and arranged candidate to join our accounting group as a Job Cost/ Billing Administrator, situated at one of our 5 workplaces.

Job Description:

The Job Cost and Billing Administrator reports to the Accounting Manager/Controller and is accountable for all elements of the Job Cost System keeping Regional Managers, Project Managers, Division Managers and Senior Management group notified of task status of all tasks in their appointed Divisions and is accountable for precise and prompt customer billing for their appointed areas.

Responsibilities consist of:

  • Oversee all elements of the Job Cost system; i.e. established of tasks, getting in task spending plans and Change Orders, fixing publishing mistakes
  • Verify AP posts to tasks for precision
  • Process stock transfers to tasks
  • Review and fix up task entries with Project Managers
  • Reconcile Production published to the tasks and procedure Precast Accruals
  • Process Back charges and Write-offs
  • Post costs to Job Cost; produce sales and evaluation for precision
  • Troubleshoot and collaborate with Precast and Purchasing departments to remedy information mistakes
  • Maintain Project Manager Action Item report
  • Close Job Cost for month end
  • Generate Month end reports for Senior Management
  • Generate profits and expense accounting occasion
  • Transfer profits and expense to GL
  • Reconciling sales tracking system to task costing system. Consumer established in ORACLE and confirmation of linkage with Oracle modules. Validate sent Contract established by validating all customer information.
  • Process produced customer billings (electronic or paper) with proper backup.
  • Process Inter-Company billings (electronic or paper) with suitable backup.
  • Obtain tax exempt certificates when essential.
  • Review and upgrade State sales tax requirements as required.
  • Maintain Billing submits guaranteeing compliance with business standards for (electronic or paper) record keeping.
  • Reviews Billing Status Report, Invoice Backup and Expenditure Detail for precision and fixes up customer billing with Project Managers and Accounting group.
  • Posts billings to Accounts Receivable and fixes up the Aging to JC Summary and General Ledger, making any needed changes.
  • Provide Invoice records as required for audits and other demands.
  • Processing of Lien Waivers by acquiring Agent and Corporate Officer signatures, then routing originals as required.

Education/Skills/Experience:

  • 2-3 years workplace experience
  • General Accounting understanding
  • Knowledge of Job Cost and Contract Accounting
  • Excellent organizational abilities with attention to information and precision
  • Ability to evaluate budget plan and expense differences.
  • Ability to multi-task, focus on, satisfy due dates, and operate in a busy environment
  • Oracle experience a plus
