Customer Account Coordinator (Billing)

Tasks and Responsibilities:
The Client Account Analyst (Billing) supports the processing and administration of billing and collection activities for the designated customers, practice groups and/or billing lawyers. A considerable part of this person’s work will be e-billing. This position needs a person who listens to information, and who can work efficiently in a group environment to satisfy billing and collection targets.
Vital Functions Include:
- Carry out regular information processing jobs and input pertinent info into systems used to help with the billing and collections procedures.
- Update internal procedures and systems for opening matters to guarantee all internal systems properly show the information processed.
- Carry out transfers and edits to make sure precision of rates, stories, time and cost records, and matter recognition fields for pre-bills and billing processing.
- Process and disperse (paper and electronic) pre-bills and billings for shipment to billing lawyers and customers.
- Screen billing status (e-billing and/or routine A/R) for customers and file A/R and unbilled stock status in system; follow-up in efforts to guarantee prompt collection of billings.
- Determine and assist deal with troublesome patterns and scenarios that might negatively affect billing and collections.
Certifications and Prior Experience:
- College degree chosen or comparable experience.
- Suitable prospect will have 2+ years’ experience in e-billing and billing processing & treatments and excel in Aderant/CMS, BillBlast, Elite, or other legal billing software application.
