JOB SUMMARY
In an environment where the client is at the center of whatever that we do the people in this position generally deals with Billing Representatives and other staff members dealing with complicated billing problems for the function of gathering earnings for the company. Will deal with Patient, Client and/or Third Party insurance coverage costs.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Able to carry out all responsibilities needed of a Billing Representative.
- Provide training for brand-new and/or existing employee on reports, SOPs and provider details as needed.
- Track and pattern day-to-day production and quality efficiency on brand-new hires.
- Proactively recognize QC problems for brand-new hires.
- Develop and execute action prepare for enhancement in combination with the Team Leader.
- Interpret and interact procedural and billing standards to the department.
- Maintain and upgrade department company guidelines and SOPs.
- Compile and prepare specialized reports for circulation to management and reps.
- Coordinate with IT departments on billing department efforts. Might be an accredited Medical Coder or included with medical coding.
- Perform other responsibilities and functions as appointed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or comparable 1 year experience in Patient, Client or Third Party insurance coverage billing, experience in numerous functional locations or QA/QC favored Intermediate to sophisticated abilities in Microsoft applications, with particular efficiency in Excel
- Ability to plainly communicate procedural details, problems and requirements
- Proven capability to supply training and training in a collective way
- Excellent interaction abilities, both spoken and composed
