POSITION PURPOSE= Work Remote Pos
Performs the everyday billing and follow-up activities within the income operations for a designated Patient Business Services (PBS) place. Acts as a member of the billing and follow-up group appointed to a PBS place accountable for billing and follow-up of federal government and non-government accounts. Offers training and assistance to lower level coworkers and offer issue resolution as required. This position reports straight to a Supervisor Billing & Follow-Up.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration or associated field, and a minimum of 3 (3) or more years’ of direct experience and pertinent understanding of earnings cycle functions and systems working within a medical facility or center environment, a medical insurance business, handled care company or other healthcare monetary service setting, carrying out medical claims processing, monetary therapy, monetary clearance, accounting or customer support activities or a comparable mix of education and experience. Experience in a complex, multi-site environment chosen.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, consisting of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
