Job Details

The Billing Specialist is accountable for reliable and effective billing of claims within a prompt way.

The Billing Specialist will require to comprehend the agreements, rates, and compensation requirements from each payer.

Duties consist of however are not restricted to:

  • Knowledge of AdvantX registration, billing deals modules
  • Billing treatments
  • Submits paper and electronic claims everyday
  • Knowledge of center Managed Care Contracts
  • Verifies information for precision
  • Verifies correct Managed Care Plan and agreement permitted
  • Understands all locations covered in Registration/Billing
  • Understands and standard understanding of CPT and ICD-10 code
  • Ability to connect with staff member, management and center personnel
  • Works with colleagues to make sure all due dates are fulfilled

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or comparable needed.
  • Minimum 3-5 years hospital/ASC billing.
  • Revenue Cycle experience highly chosen.
  • CPT/HCPCS – ICD 10 understanding.
  • Ability to check out and understand complicated directions, remittance guidance, EOB’s, UB/HCFA.
  • Proficient computer system software application abilities.
  • Ability to believe rapidly and react quickly to requirements of the payer.
  • Ability to comprehend the requirement for privacy in the work appointed to you.
  • Effective & effective interaction abilities.
