Drug Store Billing & Rejections Professional

Medwiz is searching for a Billing & Rejections Specialist who has an interest in entering into a devoted group! Our workers are thought about necessary employees, and we are trying to find somebody who wishes to make a distinction in client care.

Responsibilities

· Electronic billing of Medicare, Medicaid, and Third Party insurance coverage declares making use of Framework LTC Pharmacy system for citizens in retirement home. SNF, ALF, and Private pay claims.

· Troubleshoot declined insurance coverage claims leading to payment.

· Resolve rejections

· Manage census from designated centers – PCC experience is a plus

· Review weekly pre-billing reports and make needed corrections

· Review Medicaid Pending clients and rebill when qualified

· Provide estimate as asked for from centers

· Contact insurer for disagreements, confirmation of protection, concerns

· Work in partnership with the drug store group to deal with any concerns that develop concerning billing

Qualifications:

· HS diploma or equivalent

· Eligibility to protect a Pharmacy Technician License if not presently certified

· If not a biller, previous accounting, medical billing, or associated position is handy

· Must have the ability to browse through Medicare, Medicaid, and Insurance sites along with the drug store system and the EMR systems at the nursing centers (strong computer system navigation abilities)

· Problem-solving capability and ownership of difficulties

· Excellent customer care abilities both internal and external

Skills and Abilities:

· Strong analytical abilities

· Effective communicator

· Quick and independent student

· Availability to work overtime, vacations, and weekends as required
