Full-Time Billing Specialist, Lewisville TX

BayMark Health Services is trying to find an arranged, analytical and information oriented Billing Specialist to handle billing procedures and claims submissions. Furthermore, the billing professional is accountable for reporting expiration of client permissions, taping/ preserving change spreadsheets, and handle designated accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Medical AR follow-up treatments to consist of examining and working aging reports, rejections and insurance coverage correspondence from different insurance coverage providers
  • Data entry of charges and billing of claims to different insurance provider
  • Ability to evaluate, audit, and file actions handled each account
  • Submit and evaluation exceptional claims, contact insurance coverage provider( s) for resolution
  • Reconcile different accounts, post payments and start refund demands when proper
  • Receive and position call as essential to deal with insurance coverage/ client claims while keeping the greatest level of professionalism
  • Other responsibilities as appointed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous doctor office/hospital billing experience needed (5-years’ experience chosen)
  • Must have strong working understanding of Texas Medicaid, Medi-Cal, handled care and industrial Plans
  • Experience in medical terms, ICD-9 coding, CPT codes, UB04 and 1500 claim types
  • Must be extremely competent in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to self-manage work volume, partner with colleagues as required, and multitask
  • Compliance with all billing associated HIPAA policies, together with internal policies/ treatments
  • Excellent spoken and written interaction abilities
