Staff members in this position are accountable for the upkeep of client billing accounts and carrying out many associated functions to achieve this job; such as, client registration, insurance coverage follow-up, monetary screening of unfunded clients, responding to client billing questions, collection of unsettled balances and publishing of payments.
Major/Essential Functions
Working claim rejections, rejections, and modifies, with insurance coverage follow up through the ETM system.
Needed Certifications
Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: A minimum of 3 (3) years of basic workplace experience with one (1) year of experience associated to the designated location.
OR
Ninety (90) days of service at TTUHSC as a Medical Billing Partner Student and an existing efficiency appraisal with a score of conference or surpassing expectations.
Preferred Credentials
Extra experience in a center or doctor’s workplace chosen.
