Apply ICD-10- CM and ICD-10- PCS medical diagnosis and treatment codes to render suitable compensation and satisfy regulative coding requirements for inpatient services

Requirements:
Licensed Coding Professional (CCS) accreditation needed. (CCS with CPC chosen) through AHIMA
Partner or Bachelor’s Degree in Health Info Management chosen (or comparable in experience)
RHIT or RHIA accreditation highly chosen
2-5 years of intense care inpatient coding experience
Substantial understanding of ICD-10- CM and ICD-10- PCS coding conventions
Strong understanding of CPT and HCPCS coding chosen
Previous experience with 3M encoder chosen
Understanding of medical terms, anatomy and physiology, federal guidelines and policies relating to paperwork and billing
