Description:

Seeking an arranged, economically driven person who enjoys dealing with numbers. This person will have a minimum of 2 years of experience dealing with billing or accounts payable with a minimum of an Associate’s degree. They will handle all elements of service billing related to individuals getting at home care and adult day services, as licensed by the Illinois Department on Aging (IDOA). They will be accountable for making sure precise and prompt billing, earnings reconciliation & management of turns down consisting of collection of funds from IDOA. Position Highlights Maintains extensive understanding of IDOA Adm. Code Title 89: Social Services Chapter II: Department on Aging Part 240 Community Care Program, In-Home Services/Adult Day Services, in order to guarantee that the program remains in complete compliance with requirements.

  • Manages all parts of the program’s Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and Telephony systems, guaranteeing that the EVV system rounds to the next closest quarter hour, as connected with clock-ins and clock-outs by house care assistants.
  • Reviews, inputs and properly fixes up all workers time management information (e.g. paid time off, staff member recognition numbers from timesheets and other records, through EVV system) and service hours (through calendars) to make sure positioning and precision prior to beginning payroll.
  • Manages and deals with any continuous IDOA-related billing concerns, consisting of continuous billing/revenue reconciliation, turns down management and tracking of subsequent compensations gotten by IDOA.
  • Works collaboratively and effectively with the Revenue Cycle Specialist and other accounting department personnel, throughout continuous billing cycles, to guarantee the prompt submission of billing reports.
  • Work on other Adhoc tasks as designated by Home Care Services Senior Director.
