Medical Case Specialist

The Medical Case Specialist schedule consultations and tracks in the event management systems. Puts together and produce reports, correspondence and discussions. You will put together information and info create reports and discussions to other systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and interact straight with plaintiffs and suppliers
• Triage day-to-day recommendations and appoint worksheets to matching conditions as recognized by Veteran s Administration
• Obtain case history and CPT/CLIN code for particular conditions
• Determine proper assessments, tests and experts needed for each case
• Schedule visits for examinees consisting of follow-ups
• Ensure all examinees and companies get the needed documents
• Confirm consultative reports and diagnostic test outcomes are gotten in a prompt way

Skills to be effective

• Plan work to handle top priorities in a hectic workplace
• Work effectively and fulfill agreement timelines
• Strong customer support abilities with the capability to recognize and deal with issues

Requirements

• 1 year of associated health care experience
• Experience with electronic medical scheduling and case management software application
• Knowledge of medical coding and terms
• High School diploma, or comparable (GED)
• Must have the ability to effectively pass nationwide (NACI) background examination

Be versatile to work morning, night, and/or weekend shifts
