The Medical Director is the medical quality leader with a scope that includes monitoring all primary care companies, ensuring danger management and quality of care, establishing and implementing medical and quality elements of the clinic operations. Provides management to implement medical care goals and goals for medical and clinical operations. Provide tactical input to preparation, quality of care, regulative compliance, and scientific combination. Works closely with the Director of Practice Management, Outpatient Clinic Directors, Nurse Manager, and cross-division senior leadership in establishing and executing the total primary care, goals, and objectives.
As a medical care company, offers diagnosis and treatment of severe and persistent health problem and injuries consisting of history and physical examinations of people, yearly exams, order and analyze diagnostic tests, compose prescriptions, participate in dependency services care, care coordination and supply treatment, therapy, and education to patients. Experience supplying scientific services to people with both persistent medical and behavioral health conditions, and have interest in serving complex, vulnerable, homeless, and disabled populations, preferred but not needed
MAJOR JOB-SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:
- Demonstrate proficiency in medication in accordance with the greatest requirements of clinical care to patients at primary care/wellness websites. Competencies consist of the abilities of personnel supplier management, evaluation, intervention, treatment, and assessment.
- Preserves a knowledge base in accordance with the current patterns of medicine and compliance with all standards of agency policies and procedures.
- Ability to successfully communicate and engage with patients, staff member, and community-based service providers of homeless and dependency services.
- Effectively work under the guidance of the Medical Director and work collaboratively with other team members in a professional and integrative way.
- Timely and precise documents of all clinically related patient info in the suitable medical record as well as timely billing for all services provided.

PARTICULAR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Functions as the primary clinical quality leader for primary care and health sites.
- Establishes quantifiable efficiency expectations (productivity, quality of care, prompt conclusion of medical records and patient care, charting, and other administrative duties).
- Provides routine guidance, coaching, counseling, examine providers working across medical care centers.
- Functions closely with cross-division leadership and center management on the development and refinement of an integrated model of care and a model of clinical quality for primary care centers.
- Functions closely with the Director of Practice Management, and Center Directors on boosting medical care workflows to place centers for success.
- Works carefully with the Director of Practice Management, COO, and Center Directors on enhancing primary care facilities to place centers for growth.
- Supplies leadership to execute primary care objectives and objectives for medical and scientific operations.
- Provides tactical guidance to the planning, quality of care, regulatory compliance, and scientific integration.
- Evaluates the physical and psychosocial status of adult patients in all necessary settings at CHL by obtaining suitable patient histories, performing health examinations, purchasing appropriate diagnostic tests, analyzing essential laboratory information, and detecting health problems.
- Carries out a plan of care, which may consist of additional diagnostic tests, treatment, patient education therapy, and/or referrals to other health specialists.
- Teams up with other service providers across the organization as well as other onsite and seeking advice from doctors and providers regarding the medical management of patients.
- Occasionally examines treatment strategies and patient outcomes and makes the proper modifications as needed.
- Provides assessment and education to healthcare experts, neighborhood companies, and others thinking about the healthcare needs of homeless individuals consisting of coordination onsite and essentially with other companies and nurses.
- Properly files in a timely way and maintains all patient medical records and safeguards the confidentiality of patient-related medical and psychosocial information.
- Participate in and leads as suitable routine conferences with staff, primary care companies and supervisors, behavioral health group, the dependency care group, and other conferences as needed.
- Appropriately and prompt bill for services consisting of CPT codes for other treatments and services.
- Act expertly at all times with patients and care team members; CHL medical care has complicated patients who require regard and level of sensitivity along with an intensive group approach.
- Take weekend phone calls for the practice regularly consisting of cross covering the practice that covers our practice at night and on the weekends (around 4 weekends per year/5-20 calls per weekend).
CERTIFICATIONS:
- A licensed MD in the state of Massachusetts with an unencumbered, unlimited, unrevoked, unsuspended, unconditional license as a doctor in the State of Massachusetts.
- Prior experience as Medical Director/leadership for 3 or more years in a primary care department, household medicine or immediate care, chosen
- Active DEA Controlled Substance Registration
- Valid suboxone waiver or the ability to acquire upon hire
- Demonstrated skills in personnel management, supervision, mentor and guideline skills, and organizational advancement.
- Clear and expert spoken and written interaction and conference facilitation abilities.
- Licensed in Basic Life Assistance for Health Care Providers
- Experience supplying clinical services to people with both persistent medical and behavioral health conditions, and have interest in serving complex, vulnerable, and handicapped populations, chosen.
- Should have the ability to pass a CORI background check
