Certified candidates will have 1-3 years of experience.

Understanding of Athena billing is a must.

Understanding about companies’ credentialing with insurance providers is a plus.

Our practice uses paid holiday time, paid significant vacations, paid made ill time, long-lasting impairment.

Task Description:

Process preliminary credentialing and recredentialing applications

Evaluating specialists applications and supporting paperwork to establish their eligibility

Collect details from the National Specialist Data Bank (NPDB), candidate and their malpractice insurance company, and other pertinent sources

Recognizing inconsistencies in details and conduct follow-up

Present applications to the practice supervisor

Recording main source documents in computer system databases.

Guarantee compliance with relevant laws, policies, treatments and policies

Pre-authorization of services and medication as required

Helping clients with copay structures

Process charges from EMR system to billing business system

Client declarations, payments & collections

Credentials:

Skilled usage of Athena software application is a need to

Understanding of insurance coverage standards consisting of HMO|PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer requirements and systems

Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 Coding, and medical terms

Reliable interaction capabilities for phone contacts with insurance coverage payers to solve concerns that includes a calm way and perseverance

Exceptional client service abilities for engaging with clients

Capability to work well in a group environment.

Capability to triage concerns, and deal with dispute in a sensible style

Comprehending of insurance coverage (co-pays, co-insurances, deductibles)

Exceptional computer system abilities (Word|Excel, EMR, practice management software application)

Capability to research study claims separately

Expert discussion and conduct
