MEDICAL BILLING CLERK

Our client, a specialty healthcare organization, is looking to hire a Medical Billing Clerk to join their team. This position will be onsite with all the proper PPE provided and social distancing enforced.

Salary/Rate:

$16-17/hr (temp to permanent opportunity)

Position Overview:

The Medical Billing Clerk will be responsible for timely and accurate billing and appropriate reimbursement for all claims billed from all insurance payers. Candidates with 1+ years of Medical Billing experience are preferred

Responsibilities:

• The Medical Billing Clerk will be responsible for preparing and submitting claims to insurance companies and payment posting
• Processing patient billing statements
• Posting of cash receipts, denials to patient accounts
• Reviewing, analyzing and updating claims submitted and rejected to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Review and process all claim appeals

Qualifications:

• The Medical Billing Clerk must have 1+ years of experience in billing and medical insurance claim processing
• Strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
• Proven ability to analyze data, interpret that data and present in reports
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
