Our client, a specialty healthcare organization, is looking to hire a Medical Billing Clerk to join their team. This position will be onsite with all the proper PPE provided and social distancing enforced.
Salary/Rate:
$16-17/hr (temp to permanent opportunity)
Position Overview:
The Medical Billing Clerk will be responsible for timely and accurate billing and appropriate reimbursement for all claims billed from all insurance payers. Candidates with 1+ years of Medical Billing experience are preferred
Responsibilities:
- The Medical Billing Clerk will be responsible for preparing and submitting claims to insurance companies and payment posting
- Processing patient billing statements
- Posting of cash receipts, denials to patient accounts
- Reviewing, analyzing and updating claims submitted and rejected to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Review and process all claim appeals
Qualifications:
- The Medical Billing Clerk must have 1+ years of experience in billing and medical insurance claim processing
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Proven ability to analyze data, interpret that data and present in reports
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
