Billing Professional Task Description
Main Duties, Expected Specialist Competencies–
- Submit client declares to insurance coverage providers, following filing treatments for each provider
- Gets in billing charges
- Accountable for receivables, billing charges, payment posts and collections
- Adapts rapidly to regular procedure modifications and enhancements
- Is reputable, engaged, and supplies feedback to enhance procedures and policies
- Goes to all department, group, and weekly business conferences as needed
- Perform any extra obligations or unique jobs as needed
- Tasks and obligations might go through alter based upon the requirements of the department
Required Education, Training and/or Expert Experience–
- High School diploma or GED needed
- 1-2 year( s) administrative experience chosen
- 1-2 year( s) billing experience chosen
- Exceptional Customer support abilities, consisting of phone and social abilities
- Computer system efficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook chosen
- Typing precision of 35 wpm minimum
- Database information entry experience chosen.
- Clear diction and understanding of the English language, both composed and spoken
- Work history of outstanding participation and punctuality
- High convenience level dealing with culturally varied employee and customers
- Strong mathematical abilities, consisting of addition, subtraction, reproduction, and department
- Understanding of medical terms chosen; understanding of orthotics and diabetes a plus
- Some experience with medical insurance coverage and/or DME a plus
Licensure/ Accreditation Requirements–
- Prospect needs to effectively pass a background check
Position Category–
