Medical Coding Professional– Park City, Utah

Full-Time, benefited position operating in a multispecialty medical practice in Park City, Utah. Core obligations consist of: Code hospital/outpatient treatments with suitable CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS codes. Extra obligations consist of: Payment publishing, rejections management and balance dues follow-up. Need to have outstanding customer support abilities and listen to information.

Duties:

• Designate codes to medical diagnoses and treatments, utilizing ICD (Global Category of Illness) and CPT (Present Procedural Terms) codes
• Make sure codes are precise and sequenced properly in accordance with federal government and insurance coverage guidelines
• Follow up with the service provider on any documents that is inadequate or uncertain
• Interact with other scientific personnel concerning paperwork
• Look for info in cases where the coding is intricate or uncommon
• Get and examine client charts and files for precision
• Evaluation the previous day’s batch of client notes for assessment and coding
• Guarantee that all codes are existing and active
• Credentials for Medical Coder
• Partner’s Degree in Medical coding or effective conclusion of an accreditation program
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology and medical terms
• Outstanding typing and 10- essential speed and precision
• Dedication to a high level of customer support
• Superior mathematical abilities
• Familiarity with ICD-9 codes and treatments
• Strong oral and written interaction abilities
