Medical Collections Professional– Park City, Utah

Full-Time, benefited position operating in a multispecialty medical practice in Park City, Utah. Obligations consist of: Account’s receivable follow up, contact clients to set budget/payment plans, deal with outdoors debt collectors and payment publishing. Experience with CPT and ICD 10 chosen. Should have outstanding customer care abilities and listen to information.

Main Obligations

• Interact straight with clients concerning their monetary obligation from services at Patriot
• File all calls prompt and precisely in the clients’ account in the billing system
• Establish payment plans per business policy
• Manage exceptional self-pay accounts and status for management
• Perform insurance coverage claim follow-ups for insurance coverage rejections and appeals
• Contact insurer to examine eligibility and advantages by means of phone or online websites
• Help with other billing/collection tasks, as required

Credentials

• High School Diploma or comparable; Associates Degree chosen
• 2 years of workplace experience in medical billing/ collections needed
• Should have understanding of Description of Advantages (EOB’s) and understanding of copays, coinsurance, deductibles and rejection codes.
• Attention to information and have the capability to focus on separately
• Previous experience utilizing Zoll billing system chosen
• The capability to multi-task and in a hectic workplace environment
• Skilled customer care abilities
• Intermediate understanding of MS Workplace
