Minimum Credentials:

High school or equivalent.

Task Description:

To support the coding group by event, confirming and taping paper or electronic records utilized in the billing procedure, and by carrying out other assistance responsibilities for the coding group as designated.

Task Tasks:

  • Prepare files for coding and/or get in billing information into Charge Automation and other billing databases with speed and precision.
  • Effectively focus on workflow so that jobs that support prompt coding and charge entry are finished.
  • Perform everyday clerical responsibilities to help the Coding group in an arranged, effective way. These tasks consist of however are not restricted to the following: getting medical records, making and dispersing copies, providing reports, arranging and providing mail.
  • Perform jobs using the billing database and/or stand out spreadsheets in assistance of the coding group– consisting of running reports, carrying out day-to-day imports, validating imported information and including or fixing information when essential.
  • Maintain precise files of billing records and other files for the coding group.
  • Complies with internal controls and reporting structure.
  • Carries out associated responsibilities as needed.

Work Set Up:

Monday through Friday 8: 00 am-5: 00 pm
