Automotive Billing / Accounting Clerk

We are seeking an automotive Billing / Accounting Clerk to join our winning team.

The purpose of the Billing / Accounting Clerk is to accurately record the sale, profit, and commissions payable on all sold units and to maintain accurate accounting of vehicle inventories.

Responsibilities:

• Process all paperwork from retail sales in accordance with lender and company guidelines.
• Ensure all vehicle retail sales have appropriate documentation in accordance with company revenue recognition policies. Notify the appropriate personnel promptly if deal is missing paperwork or required documents.
• Prepare funding packet to lender specifications and forward promptly for funding. Ensure that funding from lenders occurs in a timely manner.
• Ensure that trade payoffs are made in a timely manner.
• Review accounting schedule for miscellaneous erroneous entries.

Qualifications:

• Must be proficient on Reynolds and Reynolds.
• Must be have flexibility to work an occasional night and weekend when necessary due month end and workload needs.
• Must be dependable and detailed
• Must be accustomed to working under strict deadlines.
• In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping theories and practices.
• Ability to handle responsibilities independently, with minimum supervision.
• Excellent computer skills including Excel and Word.
• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work well with people on all levels and be able to communicate effectively with them.
