Serve as an agent in all locations of clerical assistance. Presumes obligation for all aspects of front desk operations, consisting of welcoming and signing up clients, responding to phones, scheduling visits, getting in client charges and demographics, obtaining and upgrading medical records, gathering costs and carrying out basic clerical and other tasks as appointed in accordance with Joint Commission, NCQA and federal government requirements, along with policies and treatments of PPA.

Qualifications

  • Education:- High school diploma or equivalent- Graduate of an authorized Medical Assistant program.Experience- Two to 3 years? experience in healthcare setting carrying out comparable work activities consisting of, however not restricted to clerical, billing or insurance coverage processingBasic Life Support (BLS) accreditation needed. – Medical Assistant Certification requirement. Should sit for and pass the accreditation test for through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) by the anniversary date of their employment.Individuals need to have the following understanding, abilities and capabilities or have the ability to describe and show that the person can carry out the necessary functions of the task, with or without affordable lodging, utilizing some other mix of abilities and capabilities and to have the essential physical requirements, with or without the help of mechanical gadgets to securely carry out the necessary functions of the task:1. Capability to put in approximately 20 pounds of force periodically, and/or approximately 10 pounds of force often, and/or minimal quantity of force continuously. 2. Capability to communicate with irritated consumers.5. Capability to connect with doctors and personnel and take part as a staff member with people inside and outside the department.6. Capability to submit alphabetically and numerically; basic computer system understanding and abilities; capability to carry out standard mathematics; working understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding and insurance coverage treatments.7. Capability to transfer self to and from off-site places.8. Capability to keep excellent interactions; capability to develop and preserve favorable working relationships with staff members, doctors, clients, households and the general public.9. Working understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding and insurance coverage treatments.10 Needs the capability to make use of and browse electronic medical paperwork system in order to go into client information.11 Fundamental computer system keyboarding and information entry abilities needed.
