Function as an agent in all locations of clerical assistance. Presumes duty for all elements of front desk operations, consisting of welcoming and signing up clients, addressing phones, scheduling visits, going into client charges and demographics, recovering and upgrading medical records, gathering charges and carrying out basic clerical and other tasks as designated in accordance with Joint Commission, NCQA and federal government requirements, in addition to policies and treatments of PPA.

Qualifications

  • Education:- High school diploma or equivalent- Graduate of an authorized Medical Assistant program.Experience- Two to 3 years? experience in healthcare setting carrying out comparable work activities consisting of, however not restricted to clerical, billing or insurance coverage processingBasic Life Support (BLS) accreditation needed. – Medical Assistant Certification requirement. Need to sit for and pass the accreditation examination for through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) by the anniversary date of their employment.Individuals need to have the following understanding, abilities and capabilities or have the ability to discuss and show that the person can carry out the necessary functions of the task, with or without sensible lodging, utilizing some other mix of abilities and capabilities and to have the essential physical requirements, with or without the help of mechanical gadgets to securely carry out the vital functions of the task:1. Capability to put in as much as 20 pounds of force sometimes, and/or as much as 10 pounds of force regularly, and/or minimal quantity of force continuously. 2. Capability to sustain durations of heavy work or tension.3. Capability to deal with regular disturbances and react properly to unanticipated circumstances.4. Capability to communicate with irritated clients.5. Capability to engage with doctors and personnel and get involved as a staff member with people inside and outside the department.6. Capability to submit alphabetically and numerically; basic computer system understanding and abilities; capability to carry out standard mathematics; working understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding and insurance coverage treatments.7. Capability to carry self to and from off-site areas.8. Capability to keep great interactions; capability to develop and keep favorable working relationships with workers, doctors, clients, households and the general public.9. Working understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding and insurance coverage treatments.10 Needs the capability to use and browse electronic scientific paperwork system in order to get in client information.11 Standard computer system keyboarding and information entry abilities needed.
