Function as an agent in all locations of clerical assistance. Presumes duty for all aspects of front desk operations, consisting of welcoming and signing up clients, addressing phones, scheduling visits, going into client charges and demographics, obtaining and upgrading medical records, gathering costs and carrying out basic clerical and other tasks as designated in accordance with Joint Commission, NCQA and federal government requirements, along with policies and treatments of PPA.
Qualifications
- Education:- High school diploma or equivalent- Graduate of an authorized Medical Assistant program.Experience- Two to 3 years? experience in healthcare setting carrying out comparable work activities consisting of, however not restricted to clerical, billing or insurance coverage processingBasic Life Support (BLS) accreditation needed. – Medical Assistant Certification requirement.
