JOB PURPOSE:

Manage the Medicaid Billing and AR collections procedures for a group of Healthcare Centers through American Health Tech’s Long Term Care (LTC) software application. Effective people have the ability to handle a sensible volume of comprehensive work, recognize with the guidelines and policies of Medicaid billing and are experienced at issue resolving and account resolution. This position will work under basic guidance. This position will operate within a group environment. Effective people will have the ability to work well with other employee to fulfill or surpass monetary objectives set by the company.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and transfer Georgia Medicaid declares.
  • Research, right and re-bill exceptional Medicaid claims.
  • Responsible for Medicaid Collections and Days Sales Outstanding.
  • Work with the health care center administrator and workplace workers to handle the center’s Medicaid receivable.
  • Respond to alter proficiently and deal with extra tasks as appointed.
  • Carry out all responsibilities with a “Commitment to Caring” mindset in accordance with the business’s objective, vision, and approach.
  • Follow all business policies and treatments, state and federal laws and policies and report infractions to the suitable manager.
  • File and arrange all proper documents associated to task responsibilities.

Qualifications

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-3 years’ experience with Georgia or South Carolina Medicaid billing and collections.
  • Previous experience with LTC-Long Term Care a plus.
  • Excellent interaction and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with LTC and/or Healthcare is important.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or authorized exemption needed by date of hire
