Description

UPMC Health Plan is working with a full-time Sr. Information Analyst, Medical Policy to support the Medical Director Service Department for its downtown Pittsburgh area at the United States Steel Tower. This is a Monday through Friday daytime position.

Under the guidance of the Manager of Medical Policy, the Senior Medical Policy Data Analyst styles, evaluates and provides analytical services to support data-based choice making in the department and throughout the company to enhance components such as organizational efficiency and member care.   • SQL efficiency. MS SQL Server, Toad for Oracle, and Power BI efficiency.
  • Medical coding (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, DRG) experience.
  • MS Office efficiency.
  • Excellent social, oral, and composed interaction abilities. Need to work well separately and within a group. Experience with other shows languages (e.g., Python, R). Experience with procedure and information analysis automation.
