Minimum Qualifications …

Graduated from a recognized medical assistant program OR military medical services training program, OR hold existing CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA accreditation, OR LPN license, OR have actually been working as a MA for 5 out of the last 7 years, OR 1 year’s experience advising in a recognized MA program.
Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) accreditation.
1 year’s experience with Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and International Classification of Diseases (ICD) coding.
