We are looking for a Billing Specialist who can handle a number of jobs throughout all centers, straight and indirectly associated to member accounts. This position will be an essential part of our onboarding and billing procedures. Responsibilities consist of however are not restricted to gathering payments, dealing with issues, addressing questions relating to an account. The physical capability to being in front of a computer system screen for long hours at a time is needed. The Billing Specialist should engage with and handle clients regularly. Tested experience as a Billing Specialist is necessary.

Core Responsibility

  • Confirm protection and eligibility
  • Enforcing Workit Health billing policies
  • Triage billing problems and lead interaction with members on payment statuses
  • Refund clients when required and established payment strategies for exceptional balances
  • Audit member billing history as required
  • Manage billing questions by means of chat and phone
  • Assist billing group as required

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • CPC, CPB or 2 years comparable experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft workplace Medical terms
  • Patient service experience needed
  • Medical workplace experience needed
  • Strong analytical capability
  • Excellent interaction abilities
  • Outstanding organizational abilities
  • The capability to multitask
  • Problem-solving ability
