The Medical Center Representative is accountable for basic clerical, receptionist, billing, recommendations, client registration and consumer service for the operation of the company workplace in a medical. The MCR manages a high volume of delicate medical, monetary and individual info daily. The MCR is accountable for day-to-day scheduling, inbound calls, client registration, billing/collection functions, and other tasks as appointed.
Nature and Scope
The Medical Center Representative is accountable for the day-to-day operations of the clerical parts of the. The MCR will precisely and effectively process the arrival and exit of 20 or more clients daily. The MCR is under the direct guidance of the Practice Manager.
Qualifications
1. High School diploma or GED, needed.
2. 2 to 3 years of experience in an ambulatory healthcare center looked for.
3. Candidates should have strong understanding of medical terms and a comprehensive understanding of HIPAA law. Privacy is of utmost significance.
4. Experienced of Third Party Payers, ICD-9 and CPT Coding is a plus.
5. Computer system and Keyboarding abilities is needed; Experience with Electronic Medical Records is a benefit, Epic is chosen.
6. The capability to focus on and carry out numerous jobs in a hectic environment is necessary
7. Capability to work well with numerous groups and in several settings
