Practice Manager III (UVA Primary Care Commonwealth Medical)


The Practice Manager is accountable for the total guidance and the operations of free-standing centers and supplier based centers on behalf of the University of Virginia Physicians Group (UPG). The incumbent is accountable for directing, monitoring and collaborating activities of scientific, administrative and supervisory personnel to make sure arrangement of quality and affordable care. Implement staffing designs to support practice requirements consisting of Care Team, Team Care, Walk-in, and so on

Manage WorkDay procedures to consist of personnel recruitment, payroll, termination, and efficiency examination management.

Create work schedules, handle leave demand and call rotation for personnel and companies

Address efficiency and staff member relations concerns through the basic efficiency management procedure

In partnership with CPG Regional Managers assess and make suggestions of settlement to consist of wage and perk spend for personnel.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

3 years associated experience in healthcare market, or 1 year supervisory experience.

Knowledge and abilities:

Working understanding of CPT and ICD-9 coding.

In-depth understanding of third-party payer compensation policies and treatments.

Basic understanding of and experience using a computer.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
