This position works under the supervision of the RMG Senior Director of Coding Compliance and Credentialing and will serve as a leader and role model for the coding team by displaying a positive patient-centered and solution-oriented approach and attitude. Responsibilities include managing timely coding primarily for our Ortho/Neuro specialties. This position oversee 18 team members, one third of which work remotely. This position will be on site.

Qualifications
Education: Coding Education from Nationally Recognized Coding Curriculum required (AAPC or AHIMA).
Experience: 5+ years of experience of active medical practice Coding Production (i.e. not retrospective Audit production) required. 2+ years team leadership/supervisory required. 1+ year coding training experience can count for 1 year leadership experience.
Certifications: Certified Professional Coder with one or more nationally recognized specialty certification(s) required (AAPC or AHIMA)
