Coach Alicia: Laureen, will you inform them real fast while that’s turning up about our internship program?

Coach Laureen: Oh, yeah, excellent. We do have CCO internship program where a great deal of individuals, number one, they just wish to keep learning. You can come join us. All we ask is that you’re currently licensed. It’s not for individuals who aren’t certified yet.
Once you get any coding credential and you want to intern with us, we have an entire program for the whole process once again. Go to that Contact CCO and join us and we’ll do a little interview with you, we’ll let you know a little bit more about it. A lot of it relates to researching. We teach you how to do that. We offer you tools to be able to do that.
You pull the information and you might examine records from webinars like this, help write CEU question. A great deal of our interns are helping with the PEARLS which is our disease process, big, whatever you would like to know about that illness process, EM coding in one, and Alicia has been doing discussions on all that info that they gathered. So, lots of fun stuff and being able to be together. You get a recommendation letter from us when you’re made with your little time with us. If you like it, you can extend and do it for another term.
If you want to make it an entire year, we do not mind.
Alicia is now the supervisor, so that one she wanted me to discuss it[laughs] She’s handling that and they like it because she’s really … she’s doing a great deal of the reviews and she’s seeing their work anyways and providing feedback to it makes good sense.
