Medical Billing Specialist

As a medical billing specialist you will take the data provided by the medical coders and use it to compile and submit claims to insurance companies and then subsequently bill patients. Day to Day responsibilities include but are not limited to

Using coded data to produce and submit claims to insurance companies

· Work directly with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to get a claim processed and paid

· Review and appeal unpaid and denied claims

· Verify patients insurance coverage

· Answer patients billing questions

· Handling collections on unpaid accounts

· Manage the facilities Accounts Receivable reporst

Full time Position

Benefit package included

Minimum 3 years experience in an inpatient Physician Office

Must have working knowledge of Medicare guidelines
