Duties

  • Expenses insurer or client.
  • Posts payments to client accounts.
  • Makes sure that payment has actually been gotten according to agreement.
  • Changes account balances and notes agreement allowances, insurance coverage write-offs, and courtesy discount rates.
  • Balances deposits for designated accounts.
  • Examines all insurance coverage info to keep existing billing understanding and files and reports any inconsistencies or declinations to manager.
  • Keeps computer system and paper department files and logs.
  • Responses client and 3rd party payer representative queries relating to accounts and finishes documents of all activity on each account.

Requirements

  • One year associated experience or training.
