ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of a ABHES or CAAHBP Medical Assistant program or 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or like health care function chosen.
Experience with EHR is chosen.
High School graduate or GED equivalent is needed.
Must be well-informed and skilled in standard medical proficiencies.
Must interact successfully and work well with others. Assertiveness, organizational abilities, efficient time management, versatility and self-motivation are vital for the function. Should have the ability to satisfy the physical needs of the position such as flexing, extending, kneeling, twisting, lifting, client transfer, pressing, and pulling, and so on. Need to have the ability to raise 30 pounds.
BLS accreditation chosen and need to be acquired within 90 days of hire and kept.
