Department Summary

The University of North Texas (UNT) Student Health and Wellness Center is a full-service medical center offering basic health and specialized healthcare to all UNT trainees. The Student Health and Wellness Center is staffed with certified doctors, nurse professionals, pharmacists, accredited laboratory technologists, psychiatrists, signed up nurses, signed up dietitians, radiology professionals, and massage therapists.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma/GED equivalent, and one year of associated experience. Alternative of education for experience enabled.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Working understanding of drug store and/or medical innovation and practices as essential.

  • Knowledge of security and security safety measures proper to work carried out.

Participates in all necessary SHWC trainings and conferences, consisting of committees, as appointed. Practices and follows appropriate personal privacy and security policies.

Charts, codes, and charges all client encounters according to existing coding standards.

o

Assists medical companies in examining and dealing with clients.

o

Performs arranged checks of appointed workspace and sends proper signed kinds suggesting conclusion.

o

Other responsibilities as designated.
