Description: Our customer, a thriving health care seeking advice from business, is seeking a knowledgeable, full-time Coding Compliance Auditor. The Coding Compliance Auditor will carry out all levels of paperwork and coding associated to physician services, project management and report writing, and requires proficiency in professional coding/billing reviews.
Obligations:
- Complete detailed analysis of medical records for chart content and documentation requirements.
- Appoint diagnostic codes and abstracts patient medical record information according to the ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 Handbooks and coding conventions and guidelines as developed by state and federal reporting requirements.
- Develop reports of audit results and restorative plans.
- Serve as a resource for providers concerning coding, documents and compliance matters.
- Keep abreast of present modifications in coding and compliance requirements for federal government programs and other third party payers.
Requirements:
- Ownership of a present CCS-P or CPC certificate and CPMA accreditation chosen
- 2 years of experience in physician coding
- ICD-10 knowledge/certification
