MedicalBilling SpecialistJob Description Summary

Responsible for submitting error-free claims; processing and resubmitting all rejected claims in a prompt style and needed to act on unsettled accounts with each health insurance.

MedicalBilling SpecialistEssential Task Functions/Responsibilities Daily working of brief pays and denials

  • Daily working of unpaid AR over 60 days old for payment resolution.
  • Create billing batches from the software system.
  • Comprehending claim form requirements for each Health Plan and confirming each claim form type to comply with those requirements.
  • Correct claim mistakes reported on unbilled transaction reports.
  • Submit bills manually or digitally.
  • Manual entry of Medicare or other Health Plan claims as required.

MedicalBilling SpecialistPosition Qualifications

  • Prior medical billing experience, House Health billing chosen.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Shows autonomy, company, assertiveness, versatility and cooperation in performing job obligations.
