TASK SUMMARY:
Reviews, accurately appoints, and abstracts diagnostic and procedural codes to encounters utilizing designated coding category individually. Supports on-going training and advancement of staff.
SECRET OBLIGATIONS:
- Arranges and prioritizes intricate coding work to make sure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital targets.
- Designates the most appropriate diagnosis and treatments to reflect the utilization of resources throughout the client encounter.

- Works as a scientific coding subject expert.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES:
MEDICAL CODING (ADVANCED): – The transformation of health care diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and devices into universal medical alphanumeric codes.
MEDICAL TERMS & DOCUMENTS (ADVANCED): – The ability to understand medical terms and documents in a workplace, or surgical setting.
CRITICAL THINKING (ADVANCED): – The unbiased analysis and evaluation of a concern in order to form a judgment.
COMPLIANCE (ADVANCED): – Understanding the rules, regulations, sanctions and other statutory requirements, guidelines and instructions associating with governing bodies and companies, both internally and externally.
