Performs billing research works to guarantee the appropriation is ready to costs. Identifies suitable billing codes needed, billing information for data entry of appropriations, and other billing tasks. High degree of effort and self-motivation needed to be able to fix billing issues without assistance on a regular basis. Screens, summarizes, and reports shortages in appropriation info received from TRL offsite locations and buying physicians/clients.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

Needs among the following:

  • One (1) year experience as a Medical Data Entry Expert in the TriCore Workplace.
  • Minimum of one (1) year lab or medical billing experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience within a healthcare medical workplace in a registration or clerical position.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Intermediate knowledge and understanding of medical terms, third party billing requirements, ICD-10 and CPT coding experience
  • Intermediate PC/data entry skills to consist of Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Should type 30 WPM or 9000 keystrokes per hour (typing test required)
