Sr. Medical Billing Accounts Receivable Introduction of Position: You would be responsible for follow up of exceptional A/R for all insurance payers and/or consisting of resolution of denials. What will be my tasks and obligations in this task? Follow up of exceptional A/R all payers and/or consisting of self pay and/or consisting of resolution of denials. This position is accountable for handling all correspondence associated to an insurance or patient account, getting in touch with insurance coverage carriers, patients and other centers as needed to get maximum payment on accounts and identify concerns or changes to accomplish client profitability. Accountable for working EDI deals and ERA files, including fixing up carrier submissions, edits and rejection reports. Ability to research study and solve accounts appearing on Delinquent Insurance coverage Report, Collection Journal and Government Payor report as directed by management making proper choices on accounts to be worked to optimize repayment. Responsible for working credit balances. Ability to meet position metrics objectives (KPIs) Satisfy productivity standards as outlined in customer metrics Identify any problems or patterns and bring them to the attention of management group What are the requirements needed for this position? High school diploma or comparable work experience 3 years work experience related tomedical insurance billing and processing Need to be computer literate to consist of MS Workplace Suite and electronic billing software application. What other skills/experience would be handy to have? Familiarity with health insurance web websites Comprehensive Understanding of the health care A/R process Experience with health care rejections and appeals Self-motivated Capability to work independently Organized Detail oriented Ability to multi-task Work well with others What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
