Principal Duties and Job Responsibilities/Requires

  • Keeping up with Accounts Receivable from insurance coverage
  • Paper Mail
  • Electronic Mail
  • Calling on Accounts Receivable
  • Document details from insurance coverage description of advantages
  • Keep present with billing and insurance coverage details, patterns and advancements
  • Send any required attract insurance coverage
  • Assist with incoming client roll over client calls
  • Answer basic billing concerns, established payment strategies
  • Processing charge card payments from client calls
  • Maintain an expert tone and attitude when talking to clients and colleagues.
  • Maintain a favorable mindset and want to discover brand-new procedures to make our task more effective.
  • Must be dependable, accountable, and trustworthy
  • Job needs accepting criticism and dealing calmly and efficiently with high tension scenarios.
  • Any other responsibilities designated as required by the business requirements
  • Adheres to all compliance and HIPAA guidelines

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Knowledge of laboratory billing chosen however not needed
  • Focused and detail-oriented
  • Ability to be responsive to ever-changing matrix of clinic/center requirements and act appropriately.
  • Typing abilities equivalent to 30 words per minute
  • Proficiency in efficiency of fundamental mathematics functions
  • Ability to interact expertly and successfully in English, both verbally and in composing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office items such as Word and Excel

Education and Experience Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Medical workplace experience a plus.
