POSITION SUMMARY:

EDUCATION:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree from a certified university or college in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science that includes effective conclusion of a monitored course of scientific internship in an authorized healthcare facility lab or A Bachelor’s degree in a used science (Chemistry, Biology and Biochemistry).
  • Experience needed with Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology and Biochemistry: should have 2 years of experience in a medical lab. Experience needed with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science: need to have one year experience in medical lab.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires the understanding of scientific tests and requirements required to carry out extremely intricate tests as specified by CLIA (see appendix A) and properly report outcomes.
