Job Title: AR Billing Assistant

Position Summary

This position will use monetary recommendations and support to clients relating to medical expenses. They are the intermediary in between clients and their insurance provider; typically collaborating payments and responding to concerns from both celebrations. Their task is to deal with monetary commitments so that clients and doctors can concentrate on health care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming consumer interactions
  • Answer inbound calls and e-mails to deal with consumer concerns, demands, and concerns.
  • Advise client of balances
  • Ensure the details offered to the client is precise and approximately date.
  • Support CBO representatives- Printing, scanning, copying and other workplace tasks as required
  • Process consumer payments.
  • Sorting and sending out mail
  • Updating and preserving different spreadsheets
  • Negotiate and plan patient payment plans
  • Update client accounts and balances
  • Review and procedure client and insurance provider types
  • Attending and taking part in conferences, training, and discussions.
  • Collecting approximated liabilities from clients.
  • Establishing medical insurance advantages, conditions, and requirements by making phone questions, and by utilizing eligibility systems and the web.
  • Perform other responsibilities as appointed
  • High school diploma, GED, or appropriate equivalent.
  • 2+ years of work experience in customer support or associated fields.
  • Proficient understanding of medical terms, billing practices, and coding.
  • Proficient computer system abilities.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suites.
  • Excellent interaction abilities, both spoken and composed.
  • Outstanding individuals abilities.
  • Able to work individually
  • Bilingual Preferred however not needed– English/ Spanish
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel)
  • Excellent time management abilities and the capability to focus on work
  • Attention to information and analytical abilities
