Carolinas Medical Center 4B – BMT/Cellular Therapy/Hematology Oncology is a 16-bed adult bone marrow and cellular treatment system. The system takes care of clients with hematologic malignancies (leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and so on) going through bone marrow/stem cell transplants, CAR-T Cell and other investigational treatments for these malignancies. The group prides itself on inclusivity, team effort, and excellent client care.
Necessary Functions
- Fulfills particular medical requirements of oncology clients by using evidence-based expert nursing care that is safe, reliable, and fiscally accountable.

Physical Requirements
Work needs strolling, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, flexing, pressing and pulling. Work needs raising 75 pounds. Should speak English with complete confidence and in reasonable terms. Should have an undamaged sense of sight, hearing, odor, touch, and finger mastery. Need to have the capability to focus. Education, Experience and Certifications Graduate from a certified School of Nursing needed. BSN chose. Present licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse or momentary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of North Carolina needed. Oncology experience chosen. Efficiency in IV treatment, bone marrow, spinals, thoracenteses, paracenteses and phlebotomy chosen. Oncology accreditation chosen. Standard Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) from AHA needed.
