What Will You Do?
Accounts Receivable– Insurance
- Address rejections and identify next actions
- Act on unsettled claims prior to submitting due dates
- Coordinate with Claims Specialist on rejections due to payer modifications
- Identifying mistakes made at FOC level for training functions
- Re-bill or send fixed claims
- Display service provider newsletter and interactions for modifications affecting claims payment
- Communicate/Meet with Payer agents on claims concerns
- Prepare Insurance Refunds
- Demand Off-sets or Take-backs for overpayment
- Address Help Desk tickets connected to claims concerns
Needed credentials consist of a minimum of one (1) year of experience in medical billing and account follow up. Need to have outstanding organizational and customer care abilities, the capability to keep spreadsheets and familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding needed (accreditation not needed). Medical coding, a plus.
