ABOUT THE ROLE

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Accurate evaluation of electronic supplier client schedules
  • Cross monitoring of client demographics for precise client recognition
  • Searching electronic medical records for relevant client histories

  • Accurate tracking of chart and time conclusion
  • Other responsibilities as appointed

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 1+ years’ experience in medical information abstraction and coding; or 3+ years’ experience as a health care expert
  • Knowledge of medical terms
  • Prior experience with electronic medical record systems chosen (Epic, Athena, eCW, GE Centricity, Cerner)
  • Preference offered to prospects with sophisticated medical degree; having actually operated in a scientific setting
  • Detail oriented, trustworthy and capability to multi-task
  • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook
  • Protect the private nature of the medical information accessed through work with GuideIT pass necessary HIPPA compliance training
  • Must have the ability to work separately and as a group
  • Must have proactive and clear interaction abilities with staff member and management
  • Demonstrates efficiency in computer system basics and applications; able to discover brand-new computer system applications (Electronic Capture Tools, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma and/or GED certificate needed
