About The Task

Fortis Institute in Wayne, NJ is looking for a skilled, extremely determined medical biller/coder to join its professors. If you have a desire to assist others be successful, this is a chance for you to favorably affect the lives and professions of our trainees and graduates.

  • Minimum of 3 years in the medical billing/coding field.
  • Offered to work minimum of 2-4 days each week depending upon courses provided each mod.
  • Some classes will be taught through zoom so experience working online is a plus.
  • Understanding of HIPAA, ICD-10, CPT-4, HCPCS, Oral coding, and UB-04 and CMS-1500 claim types.
  • Understanding of insurance coverage guidelines and numerous kinds of insurance coverage necessary.

Requirements

  • Diploma/ Degree Required (total based upon position according to accrediting and licensing company requirements)
  • Accreditation in (total based upon position – or erase if basic education position)
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical billing/coding field
  • Outstanding interaction and social abilities
  • Extremely arranged, encouraged and results driven
  • Previous mentor experience chosen
  • We are trying to find a person that might have some night hours offered to teach a number of classes when required and cover when required.
