Description: Our customer, a multi-specialty center situated of the Upper East Side of Manhattan is aiming to bring aboard a Medical Billing/Accounts Receivable Professional. The customer serves an extremely varied payor mix and the Medical Billing/Accounts Receivable Professional will be anticipated to have considerable experience managing business and non-commercial payors in addition to self-pay and institutional payors.

Duties:

• Examine and deal with rejected claims in a prompt way
• Work and handle Industrial and Medicaid declares from any age pails consisting of publishing, appeals, ADRs
• Download and evaluate electronic and paper EOB s for rejected claims and line product rejections
• Identify and evaluation overdue accounts and pursues collection as required
• Carry out all follow-through efforts and record them in a prompt way within compliance
• Coordinate medical record demands with primary workplace for appeal functions
• Interact precise client and billing info to Insurance coverage provider
• Prepare weekly reports to examine with management with upgraded status and interaction
• Evaluation description of advantages and changes accounts according to contracted rates for precise AR
• Maintain strictest privacy and follow all HIPAA guidelines/regulations

Requirements:

• Understanding of medical terms with experience in orthotics and prosthetics chosen
• Practice management software application experience extremely chosen- Waystar, OPIE, and Medflex experience a plus
• Understanding of how to browse NY Medicaid and CT Medicaid websites
• Understanding of ePaces portal extremely chosen
• Strong understanding in medical insurance coverage, billing standards and compliance
• Experience dealing with billing/AR claims consisting of NY Medicaid
