The Coding/Abstract Expert is a specialist who is proficient in categorizing medical information from client records and accountable for correct handling of the medical record function that includes appropriate coding and information entry for optimum compensation.

Should make sure compliance with State and Federal regulative companies, keep an understanding of anatomy and physiology, medical terms, illness procedures, and surgical intervention, comprehend MDS system, and preserve understanding of existing medical record procedures.

Education
