A busy Medical Center in Rockland County is looking for to work with a full-time Medical Assistant for our Women’s Health department. We are searching for a hardworking and energetic person with favorable and friendly mindset and desire to supply exceptional client care. The hours required are Monday – Thursday from 9: 00 AM – 5: 00 PM and Friday from 9: 00 AM to 12: 00 PM. This is an exceptional chance for nursing and pre-med trainees to get experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet clients in a prompt way and escort them to treatment space.
  • Verify client details by talking to client, tape-recording case history, verifying function of check out.
  • Perform vitals; high blood pressure, weight and temperature level, pulse; record in client chart.
  • Secure client details and keep client self-confidence by finishing and protecting medical records; finishing diagnostic coding and treatment coding; keeping client details private.
  • Counsel clients by transferring doctor’s orders and concerns.
  • Change examination space table paper, maintenance of tidiness of the test spaces, making sure all devices is tidy and nice.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous medical assistant experience chosen.
  • Friendly character that can get in touch with customers and personnel.
  • Excellent interaction and social abilities.
  • Strong computer system abilities
  • Ability to relate with level of sensitivity to a culturally varied customers in all phases of health and recovery.
